“I’ve always said that one of the things I love most about working as an occupational therapist is the variety in this field, whether that be different conditions, populations, or settings to serve. However, when I transitioned into adult outpatient a year ago with only one year of professional experience as a pediatric outpatient therapist, saying that I felt nervous, overwhelmed, and incompetent was putting it lightly. Looking back now, I can happily say that my journey through this transition far exceeded what I expected of myself, and this is largely due to Ginny’s leadership and mentorship at every step of the way.
